Welcome to Producycle! I'm Cynthia, the founder of Producycle. A Taiwanese transplant who has called the US home for over a decade, spreading across Michigan, Texas, and California. I have experienced first-hand how food connects us across cultures and borders. With an engineering background and an obsession with food since childhood, I found myself drawn to the intersection of technology and food systems. During my MBA journey in Barcelona from 2022-2024, the first idea of Producycle was born.
Food is truly the universal language. Having lived in three different countries (and short stints in England, South Korea, and Hong Kong) with vastly different relationships to local food and seasonality, I was fascinated by the potential for technology to drive meaningful change in our food system. Especially when it comes to institutional procurement, where a small change yields large impact.

At Producycle, we are creating a world where institutions buy healthier food, understand true costs, and strengthen the local food system.
Who We Are
We are a small but mighty team of 2 where we first crossed paths in Microsoft back in 2017. While we bring deep technical expertise to the table, we are newcomers to the food system, so we listen more than we speak.
The institutional food landscape doesn't need another tech solution built by outsiders who have never walked in your shoes. Too many platforms force operators to "settle for" systems that were built without a true understanding of daily challenges.
At Producycle, we are committed to a different approach. We put your needs and requirements first. Our product roadmap isn't driven by what we think is cool but by institutional food experts who understand this work intimately. This is why we are constantly seeking partners to collaborate and co-build our solution.
